Ang's Cinnamon Roll "Casserole"

So this one is even more easy than usual because you're using pre-made cinnamon rolls! Grab a tube next time you're at the store and save this for a weekend breakfast your family will love! I've also used the left overs for make-ahead-meal-prep-breakfasts for my kids!! (This will be a separate blog post for another day, but so far we are really liking this system and I feel good knowing my boys are getting a decent breakfast before school as breakfast is always a struggle for us on school days!)
Ingredients:
12.4 oz can of Pillsbury original icing cinnamon rolls
3 eggs
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 c of whole milk (or heavy cream, we use milk!)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c maple syrup
Preheat oven to 375 and spray a smaller to medium size casserole dish with cooking spray
Cut each cinnamon roll into about 8 pcs (see photo below)
Melt the butter and add it to the sprayed dish - disperse evenly to cover the pan
In a mixing bowl, mix together the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon.
Place cut up pieces of cinnamon roll into the dish (dispersed evenly again), pour mixture over pieces.
Drizzle the maple syrup on all over the top.
Bake for 25 minutes, let cool.
Take the icing that comes in the cinnamon roll tube and melt it in the microwave for 5 sec. Drizzle this on top of the baked 'casserole'.

I dust on powdered sugar, but that's totally optional and up to you! Tastes so yummy with it though!! ENJOY!
Here's how I store it for make ahead/school days! Just heat it up for 20 seconds or so and it's so good left over!
